Bronnes G. Holmberg

	Bronnes G. Bonnie Holmberg, 82, of Elkville, formerly of Lansing, Ill., passed away at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at her residence.
	Bonnie was a homemaker and formerly worked for U.S. Steel in Chicago and Marshal Fields Department Store at River Oaks Shopping Center in Lansing.  She was a member of the Lansing Christian Church.
	 She was born September 3, 1919 at Elkville, the youngest daughter of Raleigh and Magnolia (Rees) Fox.  She married Carl Arthur Art Holmberg on December 26, 1947 at the Elkville Christian Church.  He passed away February 1, 1999.
	She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Rayburn and Charlene Fox of Carbondale; niece, Betty Jo King of Elkville; niece, Jean and H.Y. Rowe of Eldorado, Ark.; nephew, Gerald and Lillie Jane Bayless of Greenville, Ill.; niece, Laura (Fox) and Brian Fudacz of Schererville, Ind.; nephew, Randy and Jill Fox of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; nephew, Thomas S. and Julie Tow of Nashville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Leo Tow of Nashville, Tenn.; nine great nieces and nephews; 12 great-great nieces and nephews.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Denver Rees Fox and three sisters, Stella Bayless, Ethel Flowers and Ilah Tow.
	Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, October 12 at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin with Bro. Gary Pate officiating.
	Friends called from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in DuQuoin.
	Interment was in Elkville Cemetery.
	In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to the Dowell Baptist Church and Hospice of Southern Illinois, Ind., of Marion.
